Today’s Guided nature Program…
NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY – THE WORLD UP CLOSE
The most fascinating subjects in the wild are truly within arm’s reach. During this Guided Nature Program we will focus our attention and our cameras on the most creative and rewarding realm of nature photography – the field of close ups. No matter what your experience or specialty, skills acquired in close-up work serve to enhance results in all areas of photography. Exploring the limitless world of close-up photography, we best hone our eye for composition, master the effective use of depth of field and expand our attention to detail. We also reward ourselves with high-impact images of wildflowers, insects, textures, patterns and color far more exciting and unique than conventional point-and-shoot landscape photography.
To benefit most from this workshop, you should plan to arrive with a mirrorless or DSLR camera (grant it our smartphone cameras and many compact cameras are most impressive in what they can do). A tripod and a lens that can focus close than a foot or two are ideal. Many new zoom lenses offer great opportunities for macro-photography and of course, dedicated macro lenses are ideal. This program is only one of the many guided nature programs offered this summer.
